Stevens Square Foundation awards grants to non-profit organizations on an annual basis. Requests can be for operating support, program support or modest one-time capital expenditures. Non-profit organizations are eligable for funding for up to three consecutive years. Organizations must reapply each year, and renewal grants are made based on progress toward outcomes, completion of reports and impacts that may be achieved with subsequent funding.
Grants generally range from $5,000 to $50,000. Grant requests for $35,000 to $50,000 are carefully evaluated for their capacity to carry out the project as proposed. In addition, for these larger requests, priority is given to those focused on creating positive change in the older adult services field.
Proposals are accepted beginning April 1 each year. In order to receive consideration, proposals must be postmarked on or before the published deadline. Applicants will be notified by July 1 of their status. The Foundation will contact you if a site visit is required as part of the grant review process. Awards will be announced by October 31.
